What does the Lord require of you but to act justly, love mercy and walk humbly with your God. Micah 6:8 The Wriggle Valley Benefice is in the heart of beautiful Dorset, Diocese of Salisbury. It was formed in 2003 and consists of the Parishes of Batcombe, Chetnole, Hermitage, Hilfield (now combined with Yetminster), Leigh, Ryme Intrinseca and Yetminster. This site will give you specific information about our beautiful, historic Churches, our places of worship. They are a wonderful heritage from the past, linking us to our history and roots; a source of inspiration for the present; and a privilege to hand on, enhanced and strengthened both spiritually and physically for future generations. The Mission of the Benefice is the one we share with the worldwide Anglican Communion:
Each Parish sets about this task in its own unique and imaginative way. (You will find links to the Parishes on the site). Each Parish serves the whole community celebrating its joys and sorrows, assisting it to see what it has not seen and to imagine that which is yet to be experienced. We are a part of the Diocese of Salisbury under the leadership of Bishop David Stancliffe, and an instrument Mission in the worldwide Anglican Communion Please come and join us. Jesus came that we might have life, life in all its fullness. Let us celebrate this life together
